UGC pricing in 2026: what brands pay per video, per package and per campaign
Two detailed benchmarks, ppc.io and Influee, put a single UGC video at roughly $150 to $300, from about $50 for a beginner to $500 or more for an established creator. In euros, Influentials gives €50 to €700 or more depending on the creator's level. The unit price is rarely the real cost: paid usage rights (often +20 to 50%), whitelisting billed by the month, extra hooks, platform fees and the ad budget come on top. Budget line by line, then compare quotes on cost per usable video. Every figure below links to its source, with the date it was checked.
The four ways UGC is priced
Before comparing numbers, check which model a quote uses. The same budget buys very different things in each.
- Per delivered video. The creator films, edits and sends you the file; you post it or run it as an ad. ppc.io describes the flat fee per piece as the most common structure. Bundles and credit packs are a variant: you prepay several videos at a lower unit price.
- Per video, posted on the creator's account. The creator also publishes the video to their own audience. Influee reports a premium of about 20 to 30% for these hybrid deals. Several platforms offer posting on the creator's account; it is also how UGC Pocket campaigns work, priced per campaign rather than per video.
- Per view. Content rewards and clipping programs pay creators per 1,000 views, with no guarantee that a given video gets made. Rates and pitfalls are in our guide to what content rewards really pay.
- Per campaign. One price for a managed campaign: a team scopes it, writes the scripts, selects creators and reviews the videos. Agencies and some platforms sell this way. You judge it on what the whole campaign delivers, not on a unit price.
On many marketplaces, a subscription or a fee on each creator payment sits on top of models 1 and 2. That layer is covered in the packages section below.
Per-video UGC rates by creator level
Rates follow experience and skill more than audience size, because a brand buys the video, not the reach. ppc.io publishes the most detailed grid in US dollars.
| Creator level | Rate per video (ppc.io) |
|---|---|
| Beginner | $50 to $100 |
| Mid-level | $150 to $500 |
| Established | $500 or more |

Averages land in a narrower zone. ppc.io gives an average of $212 per video, with most rates between $150 and $300. Influee gives the same $150 to $300 range, an average between $150 and $212 and a median around $175, in a guide titled for 2026 but dated 18 April 2025.
Follower count still moves the price a little: ppc.io's guideline for a 30 to 40 second video runs from $155 for creators under 1,000 followers to $568 above 100,000. In euros, Influentials gives €50 to €700 or more depending on the creator's level; the full euro grid, and what changes in France, is in UGC video prices in France. What pushes the price up
The base rate usually covers one edited video for organic use on your own channels. Everything else is an add-on, and add-ons are where two quotes drift apart.
| Add-on | Surcharge reported | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Paid usage rights | +20 to 50% of the base rate | Influentials (French page) |
| Paid usage rights, by scope | +30 to 200% depending on scope and duration | Influentials (English guide) |
| Rights, by duration | 3 months +20 to 30%, 6 months +25 to 40%, 1 year +30 to 50%, perpetual +100 to 150% | Influee, usage rights guide |
| Whitelisting, Spark Ads | 30% of the base rate per month (Influee), 30 to 100% per month (ppc.io) | Influee, ppc.io |
| Raw footage | +30 to 50% | Influee, ppc.io |
| Extra hook or CTA | $50 each (Influee), €50 to €100 per hook (Influentials) | Influee, Influentials |
| Rush delivery | +25 to 50% | Influee |

Two points matter more than the exact percentages. First, the sources disagree, sometimes by a factor of four, so ask for each add-on as a separate line. Second, some platforms include rights in their price: JoinBrands states that buying content gives you unlimited usage rights, Trend advertises full licensing and distribution rights, Influee's plans include content usage rights for all content, and Insense grants brands full, perpetual digital usage rights (the creator keeps the copyright and grants a license). A cheaper rate without rights can end up costing more.
Volume works the other way. Influee reports bundle discounts of 5 to 10% for two videos, 10 to 15% for three or four, and 15 to 25% from five. Influentials' English guide gives the example of 1 video at €150, 3 at €380, and 5 videos plus a photo set at €750. Exclusivity is priced case by case: none of these sources gives a standard figure. What rights cover, and how whitelisting and Spark Ads work, is explained in UGC usage rights and whitelisting; what to write down is in our UGC contract guide.
UGC packages: what platforms publish
Marketplaces package the same inputs in different ways: prepaid credits, a monthly subscription plus the creator's fee, or a fee added to each payment. Here is what the platforms' own pages showed, on the dates given below the table.
| Platform | Pricing model | Published prices |
|---|---|---|
| Trend | Credit packs, no subscription | $550 for up to 6 videos ($91.67 each) to $3,872 for up to 56 videos ($69.14 each); credits expire 12 months after purchase |
| Influee | Monthly subscription, plus creator fees and a 10% marketplace fee | $229, $529 or $999 per month; creator payments not included |
| Insense | Subscription (one-month trial, then quarterly or annual), plus creator fees and a marketplace fee | Trial month at $650 with a 20% fee; Brand plan $500 per month billed quarterly, 10% fee; UGC campaigns from $100 per video |
| JoinBrands | Free pay-as-you-go or subscription, plus a platform fee | Free with a 15% fee; $99, $299 or $499 per month with a 12%, 10% or 8% fee; UGC videos from $25 |
| Billo | Video packs, no mandatory subscription | From $99 per video |

Read these as entry points, not quotes. A subscription model has two lines: the platform fee you pay every month, and the creator budget you add on top. Influee spells it out: creator payments are not included in the subscription. A credit pack puts everything in one number, but the credits expire. To compare, bring each offer to the same unit: the total cost of the number of videos you need, with the rights you need. Our UGC platform comparison covers the other criteria.
The hidden costs
- Ad spend. UGC prices pay for content and rights, not for distribution. Running videos as ads is a separate media budget: TikTok's help center, updated August 2026, sets a minimum budget of $50 at campaign level and $20 at ad group level. Formats and budgets for ads are covered in UGC ads on TikTok and Meta.
- Platform fees. Marketplace fees are added to each creator payment: 7 to 20% on Insense depending on the plan, 8 to 15% on JoinBrands, 10% on Influee.
- Your team's time. Self-service means you write the brief, pick creators, review and ask for edits. A managed service takes that work on and builds it into its price. A clear UGC brief cuts revision rounds.
- Rights renewal. Influee notes that industry-standard rights last 6 to 12 months and that renewals may incur extra fees. The video that becomes your best ad can cost again next year.
- Videos you will not run. Not every video works as an ad. Plan for a share you will not use, and for a second round on the angle that wins.
- Product costs. Samples and shipping for a physical product; a demo account creators can film for software.

How to budget a first UGC campaign
- Start from the use. Organic posts, paid ads, or both. That decides the rights you need, and rights are the biggest variable.
- Count the videos. The number of angles you want to test, times the variations per angle. Extra hooks on a video that works usually cost less than new videos.
- Price them. Pick a creator level, apply a range from the tables above, then add rights and add-ons.
- Add the platform or management layer. Subscription, marketplace fee or management fee.
- Keep the media budget apart. It has its own minimums and its own logic.
- Hold back a reserve for a second round on what works.
A worked example with the $150 to $300 range given by ppc.io and Influee: six videos come to $900 to $1,800. Adding 20 to 50% for paid rights brings the range to $1,080 to $2,700, before platform fees and ad spend. The range is wide on purpose: it is the real spread of the market.
If the budget ends up small, a handful of videos on a per-video platform is a sound first test. Our guide to UGC for small businesses covers that case.
Ask every seller what the price includes
Rights and their duration, whitelisting, revisions, raw files, platform fees, and who posts the video. The answers change the real cost more than the headline rate.
How to compare two UGC quotes
Two metrics make offers comparable.
- Cost per usable video. Everything you pay (fees, rights, add-ons) divided by the number of videos you actually publish or run. A cheap video you cannot use costs its full price.
- Cost per 1,000 views. What you paid divided by the views obtained, times 1,000. It is the natural unit for per-view programs and for videos posted on creators' accounts, and it lets you set them against paid media.
Compare like with like: same rights duration and scope, same number of revisions, same number of hook variations. Check who holds the files at the end. Agencies price strategy, management and production together, and can work alongside a platform rather than instead of one: see UGC platform or agency.
Where UGC Pocket fits
UGC Pocket prices the fourth model: a campaign, not videos by the unit. Our team builds the campaign and writes the video scripts, following the codes of the formats that work in your sector, with software, apps, services and training as the core target. The price is from €2,000 per campaign, no subscription, price and terms set out in the commercial proposal. Nothing is billed by an AI agent or before acceptance. The pricing page describes what the package covers.
It is not the right choice if you want to test a few videos, need raw files delivered fast, sell a physical product that has to be unboxed, or have less than €2,000 to spend: a per-video platform from the table above will fit better. To discuss a campaign, talk to the team.
FAQ
How much does UGC cost in 2026?
Two detailed benchmarks (ppc.io, Influee) put a single UGC video between about $150 and $300, from around $50 for a beginner to $500 or more for an established creator (ppc.io). In euros, Influentials gives €50 to €700 or more depending on the creator's level. Usage rights, whitelisting and extra hooks come on top.
How much do usage rights add to a UGC video?
For paid ads, Influentials and Influee quote surcharges between 20 and 50% of the base rate, and Influee quotes 100 to 150% for perpetual rights. Whitelisting is often billed by the month: 30% of the base rate per month according to Influee. Some platforms include rights in their price, so check before comparing two offers.
Are UGC packages cheaper than buying videos one by one?
Usually per video, yes. Influee reports bundle discounts of 15 to 25% from five videos, and Trend's credit packs go from $91.67 per video on the smallest pack to $69.14 on the largest. Check what the package includes: rights, revisions, platform fees and when credits expire.
What budget should I plan for a first UGC campaign?
Count the videos you need, multiply by a realistic rate for the creator level you want, add rights and add-ons, then platform or management fees. Ad spend is a separate line. Keep part of the budget for a second round on the angle that works.
Is ad spend included in UGC pricing?
No. UGC prices pay for the content and its rights. Running the videos as ads is a separate media budget with its own minimums: TikTok's help center gives a minimum budget of $50 at campaign level and $20 at ad group level.
